Guitar is my first instrument and I have been playing virtually all of my life. A majority of my career has been spent as a music educator, working with students from a variety of ages and contexts from middle school through college.
The audio tracks shared here is music I’ve written, arranged, and played. Video selections of my playing have been taken from live video as a guitarist of the San Francisco, Bay Area band Vinyl Life. Experience This and I like You are original songs I helped arrange with the group.

For an explanation how I wrote/arranged this track, see my Songwriting Project #1 blog post. The project for a Rock & Pop Performance and Pedagogy course I took at Boston University in the summer of 2021 was to create a song following one of three approaches described by Kat Reinhert (2019) in her article Lyric approaches to songwriting in the classroom.
